Craftsmanship is a fine art. Found among the gifted artisans in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin are the finest wood-makers in America. Through decades of cue building experience, McDermott utilizes a process that includes over 150 separate operations in the construction of each cue. All shafts are made from the finest Kiln-dried, Hand Selected, North American Hard Rock maple and turned 11 times. All forearm and butts are handcrafted from the most unusual, and finest, woods from around the world. The wood is aged for up to two years and is machined three separate times to ensure straightness.

In the early 1960s, Viking Cue Mfg., Inc. founder Gordon Hart began making two-piece pool cues in the basement of his poolroom in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Mr. Hart traveled to various tournaments to sell his cues. In a short period of time, Viking cues became popular with many of the top players. As the 1960s were coming to a close, Gordon sold his poolroom and moved the cue business to its present location in Madison, Wisconsin. He expanded production capabilities and began selling cues throughout the United States and abroad. |

Olhausen started in the early 1970's working out of a garage manufacturing 1 model of Pool Table. Today they have grown into a new manufacturing plant of over 200,000 sq. ft. The Olhausen family are still hands-on designers and woods craftsmen and businessmen. |

Valley Dynamo's coin-operated products are as big in the industry as the state from which they come - Texas! In 1999, Dynamo merged with Valley pool table manufacturing, to become the largest manufacturer of coin-operated games and pool tables in the world. |
